The design of this robot came to me very quickly. I was heavily inspired by the cartoon Robot Boy, especially the adult version of Robot Girl. My first sketches were very focused on Robot Girl.

My teacher asked me to create something more personal, so I went back to my research to improve my design. I was inspired by the female character from Umizoomi for the head, then continued to develop a more robotic design with more eye-catching details.

We completed this project in three full days. 😉
